Common Ground Dance Company was created to promote the art of dance through the efforts of a professional regional dance company. It is a repertoire company performing modern, ballet, and jazz.

The Company is dedicated to:
- artistic excellence
- the mentoring of young dancers
- creating public performances that foster the unique value of dance.
Common Ground is in residence at Dancemoves Studio of Dance in White Marsh. It is made up of professional instructors and dancers from the Baltimore-Washington area. Common Ground provides opportunities for apprenticeships to students who are on a professional track.
